The Benefits of Volunteering
There are many benefits in volunteering for NCFI and our partner organisations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the support of Christian nurses throughout the world. Your interactions with other members of the organisation will give you a chance to make new friends and experience a sense of accomplishment as you help others.
In those situations where you volunteer to travel to another country and give your time and expertise you will be rewarded by making life long friendships and knowing that you have made a difference.
Volunteering with NCFI:
NCFI relies on individuals to lead the various committees, prepare materials, organise conferences, run workshops and many other similar activities. Volunteers can be from any of the member countries and in many cases the activities involved can be carried out at home and do not require travel. Normally however it is important that volunteers have access to the internet and are willing to maintain good communication with their team.
- Writing for Christian Nurse International CNI is always seeking authors for the journal. CNI provides a platform for new authors to develop their writing skills. It is a safe environment to begin your publication career. For experienced authors it is a forum for you to share your expertise and help others to grow in faith and knowledge.
The journal also provides space for contributions that give readers the opportunity to explore their faith, their ideas and to share their testimonies. By sharing with others you can help them.
- Contributing to the administrative requirements of the organisation
Persons with administrative skills, IT skills and good communication skills will always find an opportunity within NCFI to support the running of the organisation. If you have any of these skills that you are willing to share then please register your interest and make contact with the leaders of the organisation.
